We are excited to announce that Stasi Brothers has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2022 honor once again by The Long Island Top Workplaces. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third party survey. Thanksgiving is a holiday that reminds us all of what we have to be thankful for. For many, we gather around the table to enjoy the food we were blessed with, express gratitude for the positive moments life has granted us, and celebrate the company of our family and friends. Although there are many things to be grateful for, we are aware that not everyone shares the same experience. At Stasi Brothers, we always make it a priority to think of those who may be facing hardships and do what we can to make their holiday a little easier.

This year, we have created over 100 bags filled with dry goods to help put food on the table for those who may not be able to afford it. In addition to providing food for those in need, we are also sending our employees home with holiday care packages as a way to express how much we appreciate everything they do. We know that our company would not be as successful without the help of everyone on our team, just like the turkey is never complete without the sides!

Thank you to our community for your endless support. Whether you are going to be with family, friends, or at home in your pajamas, we hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!

Stasi Brothers wins the 2020 Newsday Top Workplace!!

It seems all the perks, family vibes and wonderful treatment of our employees got us recognized. Newsday's prestigious award takes into account many metrics and had all of our employees anonymously take a survey and rate and rank how they felt working here. Our longest serving employee has been with us over 40 years and counting and most have been with us at least 5 years. With our annual picnic, company Christmas parties and Thanksgiving Turkey Care Package we do what we can to our dedicated and wonderful employees.

World of Concrete 2019

The Stasi Brothers team was excited to attend the World of Concrete 2019 in Las Vegas, NV to see all the new displays, technology and materials. We went in January and saw and learned a ton of new information! We met with some of our suppliers (Husqvarna, CAT, Mack Trucks, Honeywell, and Bosch just to name a few!) and took continuing education classes and seminars and were happy to bring a lot of new knowledge home and apply it to our projects.

Christmas & Holiday Celebrations

The Stasi Family was happy to be a part of the Christmas and Holiday Celebrations at the North Hempstead Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the Yes We Can Community Center in Westbury. We were fortunate to be able to donate gifts and toys to all the children there. Thank you Viviana Russell, Judi Bosworth and the rest of the Town Board for putting this together and allowing us to help those in the Westbury neighborhood that we are happy to call home for over half a century!

Stasi Brothers is always innovating and learning new methods of installation to make our projects better, stronger and more cost-effective for our customers!

World of Asphalt 2019

Similar to the World of Concrete mostly focused on asphalt, we went to the World of Asphalt 2019 in Indianapolis, IN. We spent a few days hands-on with all the new pavers, rollers, compactors etc. We met with the LeeBoy, CAT Caterpillar and other representatives and strengthening our relationships with manufacturers so that, if there are ever any needs or emergencies they will be there for us.

Purchased several new machines and equipment that will make our jobs even better (if that's even possible!)!

Nicolock N.I.C.E. Show 2019

One of the largest (and best!) paving stone companies, Nicolock, host its annual workshops. NICE, which stands for Nicolock Invests in Customer Education, is held every winter. During this workshop they go over the latest industry updates, new products, demonstrations of new tools and new installation methods. Nicolock is an industry leader in brick pavers and we're glad to be a premier partner with them! They came out with two new industry-first colors, Oceanic Blue 5 and Peconic 6. These are are among the first pavers ever made with a combination of five and six colors. Most bricks are made with one to three colors. We look forward to installing and seeing these products on the ground.

January 2018

We just purchased a new fleet of Mitsubishi Fuso trucks from Syosset Trucks. We are always maintaining and updating our fleet to provide better service and reliability for our clients!


Stasi Brothers was excited to be at the Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (MANTS) this past week. We were able to see some of our suppliers and their new products for 2015. Nicolock Paving Stones had a beautiful booth with their very own race car! We were able to see Cambridge Pavers and their new colors, Redrock Blend and Montauk Blue. We are very excited to lay these colors for the new 2015 season and we already reserved the first orders. Techo Bloc had their new Borealis wood-look pavers. You get the look of the wood decking but the strength and maintenance-free qualities of concrete pavers. You have to see it to believe it! We stocked up on all the new brochures and samples so come in and be one of the firsts to choose and install colors, designs and styles that none of your neighbors have!

We were also able to meet with our natural stone suppliers and inspect their new batch of bluestone flagging and treads. We were also looking into their new stock of natural stones such as Rainbow, Brown Wave and Teakwood. Look for our new and updated display!

We are proud to be able to attend these shows, seminars and classes so we can continue to remain an industry leader and provide our customers with the most up-to-date information in the field. With Stasi you do most of these jobs once in a lifetime so make it count!


We had our annual Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training seminar. Over the course of two weeks we had all our employees come in and learn about the hazards that can come with working in this field and how to prevent any accidents. SAFETY FIRST!

At Stasi we are like a family and are concerned about the safety and well-being of one another. You don’t just get an employee coming to work on your job, it’s another loyal Stasi team member!


We were thrilled to be at the World of Concrete show in Las Vegas January 21 - 26. We were able to see all the new product lines and technology for the coming year. We were also able to meet face-to-face with a lot of our suppliers and industry partners that we work with throughout the year. We gathered valuable information and are implementing many of the ideas that we learned at the show. This means we will be able to serve our customers even better than before!


As we have been growing and expanding our range of services to accommodate our clients, we felt the need to update our name to reflect the different types of services and products we offer. We unveiled this change with the completion of our new state-of-the-art office which doubled the size of our former offices and created an entirely new custom 3,000 square foot indoor and outdoor showroom display!

They are the nonprofit US government agency in charge of all Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) projects and jobs and sustainable building practices. Their goal, which is something we believe strongly in, is the ddesign and construction of green projects. We live on this planet and want it to be healthy and sustainable for future generations.


We have been in the same location for over 40 years and after trying to work out of our continuously upgraded and retrofitted original office, we finally found a suitable location across the street from our original location for our new offices. As a provider of high quality, reasonable and friendly services we have continued to grow steadily and wanted to expand our offices to meet the growing demand and provide even better service for our customers. Our new facilities will double the size of our current office and in following LEED guidelines will try to keep our energy usage the same or lower. We will also have our own personal showroom showcasing all our work. Stay posted for updates.

The 3rd Annual Island Harvest Food Drive at Chi Dining Lounge

Stasi Brothers is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Island Harvest Food Drive hosted at Chi Dining Lounge. It has become a bigger success every year and are looking for another great turnout. You can bring unwrapped gifts, non-perishable foods or a frozen turkey to help the needy. One hundred percent of the proceeds goes to Island Harvest which then supplies local food banks and charities serving those in need this holiday season. We hope to see everyone there!

  Stasi Brothers and County Mason Supply are proud to announce the 2nd Annual 2010 Island Harvest Food & Toy Drive on December 19th, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Come make someone’s holiday a little nicer by donating non-perishable food, a frozen turkey or a new unwrapped toy to Chi Dining Lounge, 103 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590.
  
  All donations benefit Island Harvest. Everyone who donates will receive a raffle ticket for "Dinner for 2" at CHI.
  
  Refreshments will be served throughout the day and KJOY 98.3 will be on hand.

• Jan. 20 - 23, 2010 - Joe Stasi & the Stasi Brothers Asphalt crew attended the annual National Pavement Expo in Nashville, TN. It was a great trip with informative classes and seminars to help educate us about improved installation processes and keep us up-to-date with all the latest technology.

ALL CONTRACTORS AREN'T CREATED THE SAME!

Some people fail to realize the fact that when you are making an investment in your home and having major renovations done, every contractor is different.

Factors such as experience, training of staff, treatment of employees, quality of tools and equipment manufacturer relationships and other criteria all weigh heavily on the quality and type of work that you receive.

The detail and quality of work will vary greatly from mason to mason. Stasi Brothers has been in business for 60 years and we strive for perfection. We train all of our employees to deliver the best job possible.

We attend seminars and training programs every year to make sure we are up-to-date with the newest trends and technology. We keep our equipment new and serviced regularly to avoid breakdowns and downtime.

This has made us the number one (1) asphalt and masonry contractor on Long Island. You can drive through Plainview or Syosset and still see a stoop we built 40 years ago that is still holding strong. Drive through Levittown and Jericho and the driveways we installed 20 years ago still look great.

Don't hesitate to ask questions and make sure everything is explained to you. This is an investment you should make only a few times in your lifetime and you want to make sure you get it right. Call Stasi Brothers to get the job done and designed right the first time!

As I drive around Nassau and Suffolk Counties, I see jobs that make me wonder how people allowed them to pass inspection. I take pictures to show customers what to watch out for. Here are just a few small examples of how jobs can be done incorrectly or designed poorly. It also shows how people can use low-grade or low-quality materials and mess up even a beautiful job.


Your asphalt driveway will give you many years of service. Stasi Brothers recommends avoiding the following:

• Turning your wheels while stopped on the blacktop within the first month. This can cause a crease or depression in the asphalt.
• Parking heavy objects for extended periods. If you must park a camper for instance, place a piece of plywood on the driveway first.
• Lawn furniture, high heels, jack stands, barbecues, kickstands and car ramps will all sink into the surface and should be avoided. If needed just simply put a piece of wood underneath.
• Heavy vehicles of all types should be avoided. Garbage trucks and oil trucks are most frequent offenders.
• Chemicals of all types should be avoided. Gasoline, diesel fuel, oil, antifreeze and harsh cleaners will dissolve the asphalt.

*Remember that your driveway is softer in warm weather and this is the time to be more cautious.


Due to all the snow, ice melts and the freezing temperatures at night many asphalt and concrete products across Long Island and NYC have been damaged. Potholes, cracks and heaving are normal under these conditions and can be repaired. Please call us at 516-997-7283 for an evaluation to get your parking lot or driveway back in shape!
